I grew up on Vancouver Island and my favorite place in the world is anywhere by the ocean. My favorite foods are fresh seafood, arugula, and avocado.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, yoga, playing with my cat, going to live concerts, cooking good food and drinking good wine, and going on random adventures .
In my nutrition counseling practice I am passionate about clearing up all the confusion around food because I know how over-whelming it is with all the fad-diets out there and conflicting information. I take a practical and evidence-based approach with my nutrition practice. This is your personal journey and I'm here to help you reach your goals with consideration of your lifestyle and food preferences. I provide my clients with the education they need with whole and natural foods recommendations. I do not focus on eliminating foods, only when necessary for therapeutic diets. I want you to have a positive relationship with food and I want you to enjoy it. I want you to get excited about your health and well-being. My clients will also receive supplement recommendations when appropriate as well as lifestyle recommendations because you are not just a digestive system, you are a whole person.
